The word ‘woman’ brings forth assorted images in our minds. The image may be of our mother, sister, daughter, wife or a friend. Each of them plays a vital role in our lives, offering immense, unconditional and undemanding love. On 8th March every year the whole world celebrates the ‘Women’s day’ to appreciate and thanks the contribution of each women towards our society. A woman cannot be defined in words as she possesses the enormous power to create, nurture and transform this world. Her ability to sacrifice, care and cherish lives makes her most powerful human being.
Down the ages, a woman was treated immorally and their strength of not complaining became their weakness. But now, in the present era woman has emerged out as a winner. She is now aware of her rights and thus, society has acknowledged her strength. History contains a number of courageous women, who have set examples for others to use their capabilities and fight against the evils. Rani Laxshmibai, Indira Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Hellen Keller, etc are some of the names. Today women have excelled in every field including aerospace, politics, IT industry, medical, education, business and lot more. Women of today’s world in not confined to kitchen and household work.
